Lately, you have been feeling like you are falling apart.

You find yourself putting-off certain responsibilities. The thought of completing these is so daunting that the idea of organizing your spice rack or scrubbing your toilet seems more pleasant. Your avoidance preference of choice is taking a long nap, staring at your phone, or watching hours of Netflix.
You use to worry about things that made sense, but now you're worried and anxious all of the time. You spend countless hours ruminating about the same thing, and this leaves you feeling exhausted and confused.
You are really good at talking yourself out of events that cause you worry and stress. You can't stand the idea of being the center of attention, and you fear that others are judging your height, hair, clothes, size and the words that come out of your mouth. You take extra time finding the right outfit and cleaning the kitchen so you can put off going.
You’re noticing that no matter how hard you try, you can’t seem to relax anymore. You always feel on edge, like there’s a tightness in your chest that just won’t go away. You feel the need to be continuously busy, but it seems as though you can never really get anything done.
Your racing thoughts and fidgety body make it hard to fall asleep. You have tried everything from melatonin to essential oils and nothing seems to work. You consistently wake up throughout the night or wake up the next morning feeling like crap. You don't even bother going to bed at a decent time. What's the point if you're just going to be awake and restless in your bed for the next 3 hours?
It seems like no one gets it or understands. Everyone tells you to just relax or calm down. Just when it feels like there's relief, you fall off the wagon and begin the anxious cycle once again.

You can access your virtual sessions from any location in Minnesota that provides adequate privacy. Clients most commonly access their sessions from work, home or college.
During the warmer months (Mar. - Oct.) I offer walk and talk therapy at Lake of the Isles in Minneapolis.
